President: Francesca Romana Grippaudo

Prof. Francesca Romana Grippaudo is a professor of plastic surgery at the Sapienza University of Rome. From 2017 to 2020 she was President of the Degree Course of Orthopedic Techniques of Sapienza. She obtained a degree in Medicine and a specialization in Plastic Surgery at the Sapienza University of Rome, continuing his professional training in Great Britain and Australia, and earning a PhD in medical sciences at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.

Prof. Grippaudo has participated as a faculty member in over 50 national and international courses and conferences, and has published over 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals on breast implants, body contouring, complications from liquid silicone infiltrations and dermal fillers, on reconstruction of the abdominal wall, on original techniques for the correction of ear malformations. In 2016 she registered a European patent for the invention of the Magic ™, a bra that hides the temporary asymmetries of the breast during the phases of breast reconstruction. In 2019 she obtained the authorization from Sapienza University to create the university start-up Magic srls. She won the ITWIIN best innovator award in 2013; Awardee at GWIIN in 2015. Since 2013 she has been an active member of ITWIIN, where she held the position of Director and then Secretary from 2018 to 2020.

Honorary President: Rita Assogna

Rita Assogna was born in Rome. She studied Chemistry at the “La Sapienza“ University of Rome. She is currently a consultant in intellectual property, in particular patents. She worked as a Management Advisor and Patent Law Expert in the field of Industrial Chemistry (European Patent Office, Munich, Germany) until 2015. She was the founder and first President of ITWIIN from 2009 to 2017 and is an ambassador of EUWIIN (European Women Inventors and Innovators Network). He is currently the UN representative for IFBPW in Vienna on various committees.

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery, specialist in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, PhD and currently Associate Professor at the University of Turin where she is responsible from the point of view of assistance for early functionalizing and orthopedic therapies. Professor of Orthodontics I, Craniofacial growth and Physiopathology of chewing. He has been a freelance professional as an orthognathic dentist since 1985.
From practical experience and clinical research on the masticatory function, the development of early, non-traumatic therapies, respectful of complex cranial growth in developmental age and therapies for the treatment and prevention of painful pathologies of the cranial district in adults . In order to make orthodontic therapies currently too often mechanical and traumatic physiological, it has obtained national and international patents to commercialize an easy-to-use, standardized but adaptable therapeutic means, currently only available as a laboratory product.
Author and co-author of scientific publications, communications, posters and invitations to national and international conferences, author of the book “Understanding Masticatory Function in Unilateral Crossibites” published by John Wiley USA 2016 and EdiErmes Milano Italia 2018. I-TWIIN 2018 “Best Innovator”, of the G-WIIN 2019 “Special recognition award” and Gold Education / Research Development Category Winner 2019.

Secretary: Fabiana Panella

Graduated in Building Engineering, with specialization in Chemistry of Materials applied in Construction, she conducted studies and experimental applications on PCM (Phase Change Materials) during the PhD in Engineering at the University of L′Aquila and the Polytechnic University of Ancona . She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Alma Mater Studiorum (Bologna). Responsible for several sustainable construction projects in Germany, in particular at Transsolar Energietechnik GmbH in Stuttgart, she is now the owner of a professional business consulting firm based in Milan.
Innovation and R&D projects, alongside companies (SMEs and multinationals), have led to the development of numerous products and prototypes, with the filing of patent applications, both as an author and as a collaborator of the company team, including ALVEOPLAST, an innovative panel at based on WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) and TECU © Solar System, an “invisible” solar system integrated into the facades and roofs of buildings. Winner of numerous awards and recognitions, including the ITWIIN Award for Best Inventor 2012, the “Environment Friendly Innovation Award” in 2014 and a finalist for the “Environment Friendly Innovation Award_Green Economy Section” in 2017. Since 2015 she is enrolled in REPRISE at the Miur, for the “Technical Assessment” section, and since 2019 she has been included in the Innovation Manager Register of the Ministry of Economic Development, carrying out assignments as External Evaluator of Subsidized Finance Projects. Since 2016 she has been accredited by Polis “Regional Institute for Lombardy Policy Support” and is an external member of the Evaluation Commission for “Startup Milano 2020”.

Carla Laura Petruzzelli was born in Vicenza where she continued with primary and secondary studies. She obtained her first degree in Business Sciences and then specializes in Administration, Finance, Control and Business Organization; obtains the second degree in Economics & Management. She specializes in Project Management, Fashion Management and Business Administration. She attended the Corporate & Finance Empowered Women Leading Policies Course - Post graduate course organized by Fidapa BPW Italy, the Academy of Sciences and University Professors of the University of Bologna by Prof. Paola Monari.
She is an accredited trainer for the following thematic areas: Tax Law and Litigation and Business Organization. Registered in the MIUR Reprise Register. Speaker at numerous conferences for the same subjects as well as for Mentoring. She works as a freelancer in Italy and abroad, as People and Culture Manager, Business, Tax and Tax Consultant where he brings his professionalism in the field of training and management affirmation of the individual companies for which he provides her consultancy.
Her CV was certified in the Project 1000 Excellent Curricula of the Marisa Bellisario Foundation Certification conferred by Beyond International and Heidrick & Struggles as part of the “1000 excellent curricula” project for the law on gender quotas in the Boards. She was President of BPW Business Professional Women Sect. of Vicenza in the two-year period 2007-2009 and currently is for the two-year period 2019-2021. She is Chair of the BPW International Mentoring Task Force.
At the BPW International Congress in Helsinki in June 2011 she received the “5 WISE WOMEN” award with the motivation “DREAM BELIEVER, MOUNTAIN MOVER” for having been one of the 5 Presidents in the world who distinguished themselves in the three-year period 2008-2011.

Grown up in the family business where she gained her experience in various sectors: Finance & Administration, Commercial and Production. She is currently the delegate for innovation and sustainability projects within the companies in which she is CEO. He is the owner and CEO of Santori Pellami SpA (a historic family business since 1890); he deals in particular with innovative projects including Naturella®, biodegradable and metal-free leather. She is the owner and CEO of Conceria Nuvolari, an innovative SME she leads that operates in the leather sector, dealing in particular with innovative projects such as Nature-l®, Skin Goat® and Grapheneleather®, as well as completing the creation of the corporate virtual tour in 2020 connected to the e-commerce site. In 2020 he founded the innovative start-up Phoenix Italy srl in the recycling and recovery sector with a view to sustainable circularity.
She is the inventor of several patents including “Plate with pins and relative plate press and natural leather working process” and “Improved metal-free tanning process”. In 2020 it presents a new patent (pending) for a graphene tanning system: highly resistant, antibacterial Grapheneleather®. Winner of numerous awards, including I-TWIIN 2019 “best innovator” award, 1st prize of the Innovation Village Award 2020 at the University of Naples Federico II for the advanced materials and materials sector, Gold Innovative Leadership Award 2020. She is testimonial and speaker at seminars, workshops and conferences related to green fashion. In particular, he has been testimonial since 2018 as part of the Fashion Design Course at the Politecnico di Milano Bovisa; from 2019 she participates as a speaker at the CSR and Social Innovation Exhibition at Bocconi University (Milan).
